Just a few steps away from the Trevi Fountain you can find this place.

This review is tricky. *** please note this!

Thanks to you fellow yelpers i find amazing places.  Sadly, the place I wanted to visit based on your suggestions was not taking any more tables. It was packed! And pretty much every other place as well.

So as I was walking, one of the gentlemen offered me a table here. So I couldn't say no. I was starving. So...the food was actually great. However the service was terrible.  I had a super forgetful server. I didn't get his name.

Gianlucca, the gentleman that allured me to come in, was super nice and even brought out one of his cooks that is also from my country.
Besides waiting way too long for everything to get to my table, there was a nice gentleman named Carlos, and he caught on to me waiting, so he helped making sure I got my meal and even took my phone to charge it.
    Again, the food was great!!!
....What I think made my experience horrible, was the fact that the French couple next to me didn't know they had to be specific about the grams, and honestly I wasn't either.  It was NOT clear! But, I did ask as I do have a budget and like to know ahead what I am going to be paying.... anyhow, this gentleman named Chiro, yelled at the French couple. He was extremely rude AND loud. He flat out told him, "oh yes, you come to my country, eat all the food and when it is time to pay, now you say you didn't eat two kilos!" He was very rude and made my experience horrible.

Hopefully, Chiro, takes this as an opportunity to learn how to be diplomatic and polite. They had great food. Which is ultimately why we go there right!!? As long as it is in peace.

    Grazie!

Stay away from this place a all costs! They try to hustle you into buying their most expensive items which aren't even on the menu. We arrived late night and wanted a pizza. We were told that they were closing and needed to pick fast. So we asked for calamari and a pizza. He said no, it takes to long you would need to get the seafood special, it comes out quick. We declined and said no we really only want pizza. A few minutes later our pizza came out, we eat most of it (super greasy), and then asked of the check.

The super rude guy came back over and said you still have the special coming. We told him we didn't want his special (which mind you said was only fried Calamari and fried shrimp and didn't mention a price) we only wanted the pizza. Since the pizza was done we wanted the check. I was then sent into the building where I had to speak to the manager who also tried to make me pay for it, I told him there was no way we were paying for something we didn't want and either way the other guy said it would be out fast and we couldn't order anything else. But magically the pizza was out in 5 minutes and we were done before any such special was sent out way. Finally he removed it from the bill. Once I finally got the bill I then saw why he was being so aggressive. He tried to serve us a dish that was 144€!!! Are you kidding me?!

Once I paid I was left with these words from the first asshole "never do this again in Rome, you will regret it!" I just looked at him then I thanked the manager, handed him my payment and left.

We paid cash for our pizza and beer and got the hell out of there. Never had such a horrible experience in Rome.

Based on the review this seems to be the norm. I wish I saw these reviews before we sat down.

Also, the pizza we received was more expensive then on the menu. When you see this place just keep moving! I will say most of the staff was nice, minus the guy who got in our face trying to charge us 144€ for a dish we never wanted or received. Here is the proof!

I would give this place negative stars if I could!

Carbonara was scrambled eggs, maybe two pieces of meat in huge chunks of fat, pizza too salty

Wow surprised at all the bad reviews! Can't speak for anything but my experience but we had a pretty lovely experience for our last dinner in Rome!
We got the bruschetta which was decent. I got the creamy shrimp risotto  which tasted excellent ! My husband got the spaghetti bolognese which was okay and nothing special. It was nice dining outside while watching people walk by. Our waiters were very attentive and we enjoyed watching people walk by ! Food was good...a bit pricey since it's right near a tourist attraction but overall a good dining experience !

Total Rip off! Stay away folks.
Made the mistake of going for dinner with my wife and 2 kids largely because we couldn't get in 'That's Amore". Did not check the reviews.
Chilo the waiter was nice and talkative but was doing a number on us.
Bottle of prosecco csme to 40 euros and he insisted on a tip even though it was included in the bill (in Italian).
    Con job all the way!!!
